Year 2020 - 2022

During the outbreak of Covid-19, we provided laundry services for 8 quarantine centres of the Hong Kong Department of Health. At the beginning of 2022, the fifth wave of the pandemic broke out and a large number of Hong Kong citizens were diagnosed. We immediately set up a professional team to provide laundry services for infected clothes in 5 mobile cabin hospitals.

Year 2017

Established Pionier Laundry Ltd., a new medical washing factory plant. Focus on high-quality and medical-grade standards cleaning of linen and clothing, and provide customers with diversified laundry management services.

Year 2015

Launched two 24-hour self-service laundry service brands – Sunshine 24 and LaundrYup, which uses LG’s commercial laundry equipment, and self-service laundry locker – Super eLocker.

Year 2011

In order to improve the quality and stability, the company shifted from traditional production to automated production and moved to a new automated, high-volume, 20,000-square-foot self-owned factory located in Sze Mei Street, San Po Kong.

Year 2008

Developed 24-hour Self-serve laundry that runs on Octopus Card Payment.

Year 2003 - 2006

From 2003 to 2006, the factory was expanded, and a total of two floors of laundry plants were added, that is, a total of about 10,000 square feet of extra space.

Year 2002

Started developing business through franchising. In the first year, 2002, a total of 6 stores were opened, and in 2003, a total of 8 stores were opened.

Year 1999

In order to further the business, the production workshop was moved to a 4,000-square-foot workshop on Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong. Dry cleaning machines, washing machines and ironing machines were added, and all the clothes were sent to the Kwun Tong factory for processing.

Year 1994

The founder and his wife invested all their savings and opened a small in-store laundry factory so that they would no longer need to outsource dry cleaning to others.

August 1st, 1993

The first store of Sunshine Laundry Convenience Store officially opened on August 1, 1993 in Soy Street, Mong Kok.
